“To me, therapy isn’t just about symptom relief. It’s about reclaiming your story, one golden seed at a time, so you can bloom from within—on your own terms, in your own time.”
Hello, I’m Pastor Howard!
I believe therapy is a space where even a quiet shift—a fresh insight, a moment of honesty, or simply being present in the moment—can plant the seeds for lasting transformation. My role is to walk alongside you as you nurture the parts of yourself that are ready to emerge and grow. I’m also here to support you in gently exploring the parts of you that may feel tender, tangled, or wrapped in pain—especially those beginning to surface in our work together.
As an immigrant with Francophone West African roots, I bring a lived, embodied understanding of what it means to hold multiple cultural truths at once. I know the the nuanced ways our cultures shape our sense of self—and how, sometimes, it takes a different kind of listening to really feel understood. This is why I offer therapy in French to clients who feel more at home expressing themselves in that language.
Whether you’re processing in your mother tongue or straddling languages, I hold space for all the layers of your experience.

How client's describe me:
Clients often describe me as compassionate, attuned, and thoughtful. I strive to create a space where you can show up as your full, layered self—especially the parts that have been silenced, hidden, or fragmented by past experiences. In our work together, we’ll move with intention, gently exploring what lies beneath the surface and cultivating the kind of inner clarity that allows true change and growth to take root.

My approach to pastoral counseling:
My clinical orientation is shaped by psychodynamic, multicultural, and process-oriented frameworks, which means I pay close attention to the stories beneath the words—the nonverbal cues, cultural subtexts, and generational echoes that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. I believe that what goes unspoken often carries as much weight as what is said, and that healing begins when we start to listen in new, more expansive ways. This approach allows us to explore not just what’s happening in the present, but how the past and the unseen influence your current experience.

My specialty areas:
I specialize in identity development and the nuanced terrain of cultural belonging. Whether you are navigating life between cultures, wrestling with inherited expectations, or redefining who you are in the face of transition, I offer a steady, culturally responsive space to explore it all. I often work with individuals and couples navigating, cross-cultural and interracial relationships, life transitions, intergenerational complexities, and the internal conflicts that can arise when we’re caught between who we’ve been and who we’re becoming.
